Books for Babies

For nearly six years Tumut Rotary has given a Mem Fox book ‘Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes’ to the parents of babies born at Tumut Hospital. The Club has now changed another Mem Fox book ‘Where is the Green Sheep’. Tumut Rotary President Tim Oliver and Program Co-Ordinator Lorraine Wysman handed over a batch of the new books on 1 May 2018 to Katrina Walsh, Facility Manager at Tumut Hospital. Each book includes a presentation page signed by Tim and Katrina. With these books Tumut Rotary members hope to encourage a greater interest in reading by young children.

World Water Speed Record

Tumut Rotary is the link between the local community and Dave Warby in his attempt to break his father's world water speed record on Blowering Dam near Tumut. We have arranged and are supporting  the involvement of our local emergency services.

Dave Warby will be back at Blowering Dam in late March 2019 for more trials.
